TRLK-10/11 en-route system

"Aerotechnica-MLT" Scientific-Production Enterprise performs  modernization of the  TRLK-10 en-route system which is used in air traffic control systems as en-route and aerodrome area  air situation radar data source.

Modernization is carried out by replacement of out – of – date equipment with the new elements. It is also aimed to increasing operational and technical specifications of equipment while extending its service life.

The modernized TRLK is designed using state-of-the-art radar signal digital processing and module solid state technologies, allowing to reduce power consumption, increase noise immunity and improveTRLK electromagnetic compatibility. The deployed antenna systems are equipped with modern intellectual motor drives. Antenna systems repair works are also provided, if necessary.

The PSR and SSR channels summary data is displayed on the remote control and monitoring workplaces, equipped with high-quality computers and monitors. The remote control and monitoring system ensures the TRLK automatic operation, transmitters operational modes control and provides radar data processing and receiving channels performance monitoring. Interfacing with other ATC automated systems is provided as well. 

The TRLK-10MPA operational reliability is provided by PSR and SSR channels hardware and signal digital processing units redundancy. The hardware is operated in hot-standby mode and can be switched on automatically using the TRLK integrated control and diagnostics system.

Specifications of the modernized TRLK are provided depending on design requirement. Basic specifications of the modernized TRLK are presented in the table below:

The adopted constructive and technological decisions allow to essentially reducethe amount of equipment as well as operational costs. The TRLK equipment is accommodated in a single hardware cabin with the operation temperature of +5÷+40°C (for the equipment installed outside the hardware cabin the operation temperature should be - 40÷+50°C), relative humidity of 98%. The atmospheric pressure should not be lower than that for the altitude of 2000 m above sea level.

The modernized TRLK lifetime is 80000 hours. Average mean-time-between-failures is not less than 5000 hours. Power is supplied from 3-phase 380V, 50Hz industrial mains. TRLK uses the scheme of primary power supply with two inputs and automatic load transfer function. TRLK-10MPA  power consumption is not higher than 10 kW (without rotation system).
